Lori never really liked her appearance. Her eyes were too big, her nose too small, her lips too red, her skin too pale, her face too thin, her neck too thick. Put together, her features painted the image of a sweet, timid, and vaguely sickly girl - the kind of girl-next-door that was easy to please because she lacked strength and character.
