Summary
The Bodega Cat was a relatively unassuming mechanics garage, serving as a chop shop when the lights went off. That said, the place was famous for entirely different reasons. Sure, you could get just about anything with a motor fixed there, and even some stuff that didn't, but that wasn't what made it's name something all of Brockton bay had heard at least once.
What made it special was the unmasked cape that ran the place, a woman who solves nearly every problem with her fists and constantly complains that the city refuses to leave her alone for five goddamn minutes. -

Summary
A young girl without a past or name wakes alone in a dirty alley within a disreputable section of New Orleans. Cold, hungry, confused and scared she tried to find someone who might be able to answer the question of who she was, unsuccessfully. Instead she is found by Jess, a relativity unknown parahuman thief. Taking pity on the young waif, Jess teaches the girl how to steal to survive staying only long enough to see that she had a natural talent for the work and that she'd be fine on her own. Over the next two years the street rats of the Big Easy named her the 'Le Diable Blanc' or 'White Devil'. Mostly because of her eyes though partly for her tendency to talk people into -or out of- just about anything. The Protectorate called her Deck.
