In it's dying breath, the Traveler made the Ghosts in order to find those worthy to do what it itself now could not: act as a Guardian for humanity.
In days long past, however, the mighty Great Machine bestowed its power in other ways to its children in order to protect them from the Dark.
Before there were Guardians and Ghosts, there were those who were Given the Gift, and this is the story of one of them.
