So much for a hiatus!! This story takes place several months after the conclusion of Season 2 of Arcane. Everything is canon to the original show and pulls heavily from League of Legends lore, especially the characters (yell at me if I get anything wrong, gotta take some liberties with some of the differences between the show and the game). Not gonna lie, I gotta rewatch the show for the 10th time because I forget what actually happens versus my first fic "What Could Have Been".
Definitely taking a more serious tone, unlike "Scissor Me Timbers", for this. Trying to keep the vibe as close to the show as possible since I know a lot of readers want a season 3 version. Expect tons of action, tons of resolution from the cliffhangers, and also tons of new characters to learn, love, and/or hate. I have a rough outline for this but honestly, I just wanted to get writing and see where it wants to go.
I feel that many stories struggle when the hit the "rebuilding" phase after a climax and I'm hoping to change that.

Summary
Echoes of Sol is a fan rewrite of Destiny's story after the events of The Final Shape. In the wake of The Witnesses defeat, and The Young Wolfs sacrifice, Echoes sprang out from the Travelers pale heart. Paracausal blots of energy just waiting to be claimed out in the universe. While Crow leads relief efforts to help heal the Traveler with his sister Mara, Elizabeth finds herself mourning on the Helm. Her grief being interrupted by a mysterious distress call from someone she hoped not to hear from again. Meanwhile, Zavala works alongside Saladin and Caiatl in an effort to reclaim the Cabal home world of Torobatl, while Cayde-6 finds himself in the city, struggling with a sense of survivor's guilt. All while old threats scheme and plot from the shadows of darkness. There were still loose ends in Sol, ones the Young Wolf wasn't able to tie up before their untimely demise. That responsibility was left to the Vanguard and its allies.

Then once Rasputin is repaired it turns out he's also pretty good at helping 'living weapons' deal with their humanity.
