Summary
Therion and Alfyn's chapters 3 and 4 but make them gayer and somehow angst-ier.
The seven of the eight travelers are struck down by plague in Orewell after the events of Alfyn's chapter 4. In a feverish state, Alfyn can only seem to keep a stable head by reminiscing over his feelings for a certain thief who is currently running around against his will to keep these idiots alive. But he, himself, is an idiot who can't bear to ask for help. Even when he needs to face Darius.

After Darius makes no secret of what happened in Therion's past, Cyrus and the rest of the gang try to show the lies in Darius' words. For Cyrus, that means many interesting social interactions that make one question the legitimacy of his education on their way to Northreach.

Or I just wanted to write Therion grappling with hearing Darius' really super mean and rude and not true words. Especially having his past exposed in front of all his traveling companions AND having to keep up the brooding act.-
