Arthur lifted a hand and touched Merlin’s shoulder, and Merlin lifted his arms in response, expecting a hug, or perhaps another clap on the back. But then Arthur tilted his head instead and closed the distance between them, gripping his waist and curling his fingers into the nape of Merlin’s dark hair as he captured Merlin’s lips in a kiss.

Arthur entered their flat and only managed to get his shoes off before Merlin came to greet him. He trailed a finger down Arthur's coat and pressed a light kiss to his lips.
“I'll be waiting in the bedroom,” he said and left.
