Arthur rolls his eyes. “Serves you right.”
Wide, incredulous eyes stare at him in disbelief.
“Don’t look so upset. You get what you deserve, never heard of that? Should spare a thought to that every now and again.”
Eames looks as though he’s considering it, decides he doesn’t like, then changes his mind and says, cheerily, “Don’t you think we deserve each other, pet?”There's not much Arthur wants from tonight: work and maybe enjoy a drink. Preferably alone.
