“So this camp was founded in 1959, originally for kids who needed ‘alternative’ methods for education. This place was a new approach. That’s why there’s all those big buildings, they’re all for different vocations.” He gestures to different places, all of the buildings looking not too different. There were signs in front of them for each: childcare, art/design, engineering, biology, etc.. all in their own different fonts. As if the campers themselves had created them.
“I guess that still stands. There are kids that actually come here during the school year, but the summer group comes here to supplement what they already learn. But it’s way more fun with our group.” David swears. Jackson resists rolling his eyes. Did he really get sent to some overrated educational stint?
