Rise above the universe tonight/Starchasers
-Dragonforce, "Heroes of our Time"The Tenno are warriors. Heroes, mostly. Legends. They're also surprisingly quirky, once you get to know them. Or perhaps, a better word would be immature. Flash blows himself up at least once a mission. Storm hoards floofs. Moon aborts an entire mission if she gets detected once. Vesper keeps causing Infestation scares.
Here we have stories of them and their allies. They're legends, but calling them walking disasters wouldn't be wrong. Quirky works, immature works, but perhaps an even better word would be children.

Summary
In a life long-lived, you make a lot of mistakes. Like getting mixed up in a squad meant for repo, or getting sloppy, or—any number of things, really!
Ticker's made a lot of mistakes in her life. Ending up in this situation isn't that big of one, really, but it's certainly one of the more potentially-lethal ones she's made.
Mistakes were made. That's how she lost the love she fell to Fortuna with. But... you don't make mistakes, you ain't trying hard enough.
