Summary
(English is not my mother tongue, so expect some grammar errors and the such.)
Canon Divergence - Yggdrasil was completely destroyed after the Battle with Marcus and Agumon.
Yet, it wasn't. When it got destroyed, tiny fractions of its power shot all across the worlds, creating tiny seeds which will grow into new World trees. Only that one of the fractions hit a human instead.
Now this human female has to worry about even more things. Her overprotective Digimon mother, who won't tell her where her biological parents are, getting accustomed to the Digital World, and her excessive crush on one of the Royal Knights.
And now she also has to replace Yggdrasil, unable to escape her feelings for the Knight in white armor any longer.

After that first awful invasion, the Royal Knights have been staving off incursions of human invaders and their Gizumon. They're much stronger than the Gizumon are, so those are pretty easy to destroy. Still, when permanent deletion's on the table as a consequence of inattention, it's inevitable that someone would slip up eventually.
That someone just happens to be Jesmon. Luckily, he's got Takumi waiting for him.
A Digimon Data Squad/Cyber Sleuth crossover where Cyber Sleuth characters live in the Data Squad world, the Royal Knights we don't see in Data Squad canon are their Cyber Sleuth equivalents, oh, and all partner digimon have Adventure-style partner soul-bonds.

All to save Sheena, Venusmon, and the Ring of Love itself before it goes kerplooey under Lillithmon's reign.
