Summary
The voices were muffled and Dream could barely make out what they were saying, but the other one was surely Tommy. He stood up and jogged up the stairs and located the two people near Wilbur’s office. One of them was indeed Tommy and the other Dream had never seen in his life, but they wore a red and gray varsity jacket and joggers and a backpack discarded on their right. They had knelt down in front of Tommy who was shaking and crying. Before taking another step in their direction Dream finally looked around the office floor. It was like a hurricane had swept through the whole place; stairs had fallen over and slashed open, papers and trash everywhere and something wet spotted the carpet. The doors were wide open and showed the mess inside, considering it was his office, it was weird Wilbur was nowhere to be found.

In which Dream and Wilbur have rival detective agencies who always compete who cracks the case first, and the latest win is in Dream’s bag. He goes to flaunt the victory over his nose but he's disappeared. Dream walks up to find two people covered in blood and only one of them has a record.

Summary
The tapping sounds came back and Dream straightened his back instinctively as if the tapping was against his spine. After what seemed like minutes Ranboo spoke up in their monotone voice racking up chills in his spine.
"It was fun chatting and all, but it seems I really got to go,” Dream huffed, the pit of annoyance starting to bubble in his gut. “Before I go, remember the windmill, Dream? Good times right?” his eyes furrowed slightly, a small spark of a memory surfacing but it was shortlived. Ranboo noticed this and had the audacity to scoff, glaring at the guards who pulled the handcuffs. They needed to get going. With one last parting comment they were out the door staring into nothing as the dozens of cameras flashed around them with microphones being shoved at their mask.

In which we continue where we left off, Dream is being tormented by someone or something and wants to desperately find the people who went missing. He hasn't slept well and that constant tapping is really irritable. An old case about a windmill leads him to a house in the woods. Now, where have I seen that house before...
