But now he was free. He escaped. He wasn't their prisoner anymore.

After the battle of Hogwarts, there was a moment of pure silence. Those who couldn't cry anymore and just sat with tear stained faces whilst looking silently at their lost loved ones. Those who were still on their guard, trying not to make a sound in case something else began. Those who were just relieved that it was finally over. One of those silences, didn't match the others. Harry Potter sat in silence because he identified old friends, classmates, people he considered family, lie on the cold ground of a broken school from war. He had watched most everyone he cared about in his life die, and he sat through it once more. Harry Potter was at fault, he knew he was at fault and he didn't know how to apologize and tell everyone how sorry he was that he was the cause of their loved ones deaths.
He felt as if he should've been punished, though he's been punished enough. In the end, it's not his fault.
