After the sudden disappearance of her coworker, belligerent friend, and fallen idol, Nyaa is left with no option but to follow her trail. A visit to the fish shop gives her sparse information about Totoko's whereabouts from her parents' lacking responses, prompting Nyaa to pursue real answers herself. At the gates of the prestigious Ohtori Academy, she's met with the cryptic offering of an engraved ring that culminates in chaos, as she's to fight for Totoko's hand in a world of fairy tale duels that promise the Power of Miracles and the Rose Bride to the Champion.
Nyaa must make her choice; wield a sword to reclaim Totoko's personhood, or leave her at the mercy of the feverish system that took her away.

Summary
Hinamatsuri, called Doll's Day or Girls' Day, is a yearly Japanese festival that takes place during March 3rd. Traditional display dolls are placed on a platform called hina-dan during hinamatsuri, as they're meant to bring blessings to the little girls of each family.
After a long time, the dolls of the Yowai family see the light again. Taken out to be put on display, Osomatsu, the empress doll, and Choromatsu, a humble sake decanter doll, pine after each other's light despite their stiff, separate places on the hina-dan.
Based on the Hinamatsuri set from the Tabimatsu game 🌸🩷

Its debatable what exactly lead to your downfall, but all that mattered was that you were beginning to come to terms with and were ready to go quiet into that good night. It was enough having to deal with all your mental burdens, so taking a one way ticket to Japan you slowly prepare for your end in the place you longed to visit.

After an unfortunate almost-encounter at the supermarket, Nyaa finds out she needs a new babysitter. Meanwhile, Osomatsu finally relents to his need to get a job, and chooses what he sees as possibly the most 'easy' line of work. These paths collide, inevitably, and that complicates things even further.
