Siren! Tecchou x Pirate! Jouno.
It all starts when a siren gets caught in a fishing net and is rescued by a pirate crew...
The crew doesn't kill sea creatures and instead helps them, The siren realizes this and pays them back by protecting their ship from the other dangerous creatures.
The captain of the ship, a man by the name of Saigiku Jouno, is grateful and visits the siren everyday to check for injuries and to give him treasures he finds.
He figures out the Siren can speak English and goes by the name of Suehiro Tecchou.
Eventually..the two fall in love and stuff happens.
Tecchou is protective and clingy of his human companion, he's also very protective of the entire ship. Jouno finds this to be cute in a way.
Jouno is also protective of his Siren, killing or fighting any human who dares to bring him harm.
Tecchou would admit it, Jouno would not.

Suehiro Tecchou has never believed in the celestial. From a young age he never discovered comfort in trusting an all-knowing figure who supposedly created man. He has never gone to church nor sung praise of religion. He has never read scripture nor been blessed by the holy water or pyre. He has never tasted the body of Christ nor drank from his blood. Tecchou is a logical man, he believes in what he can see and touch. What his sword can cut through and what can make him bleed. Things other than that (which aren’t scientifically proven) are nothing more than a fool’s folly. As a practical man, he has never worshipped anything.
But oh god, it’s taking all he has not to fall to his knees to you.
In short, The Hunting Dogs are seeking a new member. An angel-faced exorcist with a penchant for anger issues might just be exactly what they're looking for.
