Raf wasn't usually a touchyfeely dude. His touch was basically non existent when compared to Kirin, who was always reaching out to fix someone's hair, or sling an arm over someone's shoulders. It wasn't like Raf was some emotionless robot, but physical contact was very limited with him.
That's why the recent development of him cuddling up to Kirin after they banged was perplexing.
