prompt 31: dream
“I don’t - I -” her voice that breaks upon his mouth, as he shifts to take to her lips - the familiar taste of him sending something warm and comforting into the depths of her being, even as his hands - one spoken and crystal - curved along her hips in a way that made her shudder.“Don’t even try to pretend.” he whispers, in a way that makes her body clench, heady and wanting as she’d tumbled full on into his voice, into his influence, as he curves his hand around the back of her thighs and nudges her close - so close that she could barely breathe - her heat clenching fitfully around nothing in her most fervent want for him -
“I know full well the way your mind works, and the delights you’d had enough with my hand back then. I would not judge you if you’d imagined me taking you this way as well, just once.”
the perks to these dreams of theirs, would be a perk of absolute indulgence.

Summary
(See author's note for more specific content warnings. Pretty tame, just a little dark shippy.)
While exploring Amaurot before the fated battle with Emet-Selch, Ryne wanders off and separates from the Scions. Instead of meeting her situation with fear for being alone, the only thing on her mind is the awareness of the grief and mourning Emet-Selch has imbued into the ghost city of Amaurot. As foolish as it may be, Ryne wants only to speak to the Ascian one last time, in hopes of encouraging him to find another way to quell his suffering without the destruction of a rejoining.
However, Ryne's motivations are admittedly clouded by a quiet, fanciful fascination with Emet-Selch despite all that's happened.
When the two meet alone, each is a tempest of emotion and lost memory willing to collide for the smallest hope of remembrance.

Summary
"Swear this to me," he breathes, against the warrior's lips. Still sheathed deep within. "Swear to me you will be happy."
S'idos presses against him, impossibly closer. Says it with his eyes. The cant of his hips. Drag of his nails down the ascian's chest.
I will. I. Will.
Emet-Selch hates himself for almost believing him. Again. Always without fail.
