Summary
Even after learning about his powers, Cheng Xiaoshi always considered Lu Guang to be able to see the future, to actually have some sort of divination power.
It fit too well with all his mannerisms, how he knew dangers before they even arose, how he was constantly referring back to his watch to check the time.
He may not have believed it consciously, but Cheng Xiaoshi never stopped believing that Lu Guang had some sort of secondary prophetic superpower.
And, on a night in early September, when Lu Guang’s nightmares seemed to have gotten worse, his suspicions were confirmed.
