Summary
We all know how the story goes.
Vergil hates himself because he's not powerful, comes back from the Underworld and wants his weapon back. Almost kills Nero by taking his devilish arm. Teleports away, splits himself in half, has endless fights with different devil hunters. Kills innocent people in his sight, just grow a fruit capable of helping him get more power. He did all that in vain, at the end of the day, he ends up recovering from that, staying in the demon realm that he just scaped, this with his foolish brother at his side, and now he wants to make things right for all the mistakes he made in the past.But... what if the story that I told you, wasn't his intention?
What if he just gave up, but somehow, someone new took his place and used him, just like Mundus did before?What would happen if... The story was different?
