After the success that was the school trip picture, Obuchi embarks on the journey to woo the charming Egashira Mika. As he acts on advice provided by Mukai, Yamada, and Shima— really Mukai— Mukai is forced to reckon with a reality he’d rather ignore— his feelings.

Summary
So this inconclusiveness doesn’t matter, and Mukai isn’t entitled to knowing why she had lashed out at him in that empty classroom, nor why she’d stopped him to ask that out-of-character question. It turns out that he doesn’t know everything about the high school social hierarchy, much less about Egashira.
Mukai Tsukasa goes into his second year knowing less about Egashira Mika than he had before. It doesn't matter though, not in the grand scheme of things, not really.

Summary
The English Conversation Club holds Christmas season romcom screenings! Mukai is invited, and he goes, because why not? It's fun. Until Obuchi and Egashira find themselves having to explain to Mukai exactly why half the club started laughing when the smarmy main actor leaned over to his love interest and purred 'jingle my bells'.
That is, decidedly, the most un-fun part of the event.
