Since "Lost Hero" mentioned that Grover, Tyson, the hunters and Nico were looking for Percy, I imagined them looking for Percy together. So enjoy their little road trip of misfits and how they find Percy. But Percy doesn't have any memories, so Nico has to find a way to restore them while also making Percy fall in love with him. -

Percy left the US after the Giant War, trying to clear his mind and have a new start somewhere else. He ends up in Germany, where he's dating a son of Apollo. Everything basically goes downhill from there on and five years later, he finds himself back in New Rome, with his ex-boyfriend's little sister who he kind of adopted/stole.
Much has happened and Percy has suffered, but Octavian is set on helping the son of Poseidon. Because Percy is not the only one who has changed over the past five years. -

December 2013, their one year anniversary rolls around and Nico had different plans than spending three days with their families. They have their first fight. On Christmas.
But only when Nico is send to see Percy's past Christmas does he realize how much being with a happy and good family means to Percy.
And only when Percy is send to see Nico's past happy Christmas with his by now deceased family does Percy realize how much it hurts Nico to spend Christmas without them.
The third time around, they're send into their future to meet their older selves and see their children. Knowing that they would have many, many more happy Christmasses with their very own family resolves all doubts.Series
