Percy shifted uncomfortably to the silence covering them. They were laying on their stomachs, hiding behind the canoe and the thought that they could be having a friendly conversation like they used to made him want to retract everything he said.
Tentatively, Percy met her eyes again and exhaled. “All we do is either argue or ignore each other and as fucked up as it is I’d rather be fighting with you than not speaking to you at all.”

What happens when Rachel goes missing and Annabeth and Percy are sent on a quest to find her. Tension grows high as the pair are not on good terms and confessions are exchanged.
