Summary
“I was on my deathbed when Kale saved me. I was smart, but weak. He fixed that.”
Roquefort was always intelligent, skilled, and most importantly, great with money. But the thing he never was? Strong. Powerful. Kale changed that. When he was on the brink of death, he saved him. Made him stronger. Made him better. This was the first time Roquefort cared about anybody other than himself. Kale was the first person he would lay down his life for. And perhaps, he was the last.
