It was a hushed evening in Blitzø’s modest apartment at the Pride Ring, an unusual silence filling the air, oppressively heavy since the trial that had ripped Stolas from his celestial heights. Blitzø was adjusting to a new reality where his beloved, Stolas, had been reduced to a shadow of himself, a despondent figure on his couch, wrapped in the enervating blanket of his despair.
The week had dragged on like a snail across hot coals. Blitzø had initially felt the weight of responsibility for Stolas's plight pressing against his chest. How could he reconcile that his careless actions had spiraled his friend into such an abyss? Stolas had lost everything—his title, his palace, his prince-like aura now forfeited to the redistributions of fate.
