There are things Link knows.
Ganon is dead. This princess is safe and in Link's company once again. The Divine Beasts are free. The world no longer needs saving, and most of his memories, while there are still some gaps to fill, have been returned. He knows who he once was, and is determined to become that person again.
There are things Link doesn't know.
Why he hasn’t become that person yet. Why he can't fall sleep in the castle. Why the Goddess doesn't seem to be listening anymore.
He’d saved the world. That should be enough.

Zelda has to face up to the Calamity on her own for 100 years as we all know by now. This is my take on how she gets there from where we see her in those few memories that show us the rise of the Calamity.
With just a little bit of Zelink goodness thrown in for good measure.

A hundred years ago, a mother with two children who cannot speak commissions a bracelet for each of them, so they can show it to people if they need help.
Today, Link brings his sister's bracelet to Zelda and asks if she knows who it belongs to.
(Sometimes it seems like every day Link learns of something else that he's lost - something else his amnesia cost him, something else consumed by the Calamity, something else that is gone.)

Summary
One of the first places Link takes Zelda after the fall of the Calamity is to Kakariko, where Impa has been waiting for her for a very, very long time. He can't bring himself to stick around for more than a few minutes, and he's not entirely sure why Zelda thinks he would.
Impa is not his friend.

Summary
Zelda remembers how Link looked during their run to Fort Hateno: bone white with pain, fingers trembling even as he stayed on his feet and on his guard, rigid with tension and determination. Zelda had worried constantly, not just about her kingdom but about him, about the rips in his clothes and the burns starting to litter his skin, the way he refused to let go of his sword. By the end she had started to wonder how he was still conscious.
The way he looked now, it reminded her vividly of those terrible days.
