Summary
Raine is a human native of the Ka Po Tun of the Akavir continent. She is part of a guild that kills beings thought to be immortal. The guild sent her to Tamriel as part of an expeditionary force. She landed in Cyrodiil, where she adopted the more Tamrielic name Raine. Disillusioned by post-war Cyrodiil, she and her troop make their way to Skyrim, where is is caught crossing the border illegally. The dragon threat looms, but Raine hunts something far more ancient.

“Wait,” the Imperial man calls, pointing to where she stands by the cart. “You there; step forward.” She steps forward shakily, not daring to run; she’s faster than the thief, no doubt, but she still isn’t fast enough to escape. She’s almost nose-to-nose with an Imperial horse, now; it’s draped in metal armor and a saddle, reins just out of reach, and she wishes more than anything she could just take it and run. Instead, her eyes drift reluctantly back to the man. “Who are you?” he asks, looking her up and down.
“J’Kaari ,” she says quietly, twisting her hands in her binds. "From Corinthe."
“You with one of the trade caravans, Khajiit?” When she shakes her head, he sighs. “Your kind always seems to find trouble…” Anger rises in her chest, and she bares her teeth.
“Your kind seems to like starting it,” she snaps back. He turns back to the other woman without acknowledging the insult.
“Captain, what should we do? She’s not on the list.” The Imperial Captain barely even glances at her before the words are out of her mouth:
“Forget the list, Hadvar,” she says, crossing her arms. “She goes to the block.”

The worst day of Juniper’s life starts with the bump of a wobbly wagon wheel and the disgruntled neigh of a horse.
Notably, Juniper lives in the suburbs. She should be nowhere near a horse and nowhere near a wagon.
“What?” Juniper mumbles, voice groggy and mind sluggish. She’s cold. Why is she so cold? Did she leave her AC on overnight?
“Hey, you. You’re finally awake,” A voice replies to her in a suspiciously familiar cadence. Suspicious enough that she’s confused.
(SI-OC wakes up as the dragonborn on a wagon headed straight for doom. everything that happens after this is probably not her fault.)

The sun had barely risen over the snow-capped peaks of Skyrim when the carts carrying the condemned prisoners rumbled into the small town of Helgen. Among the shackled captives were two young women. One appeared to be a wizard, or so it seemed, as her outfit was composed of robes and a wooden staff –her name was Ochako and looked confused to be there.
Next to her was who seemed to be a paladin or knight, a woman on steel plated armour called Momo.
Both seemed to find themselves wrongfully accused of trying to cross the border; where they would run into an ambush much like those amongst them.
