Summary
Insanity spreads across the land of Gensokyo, as incidents begin piling up. Strange persons are seen coming and going all the time, but these more recent ones have the inhabitants on high alert. For starters, they all claim to have come from beyond this universe. For another, they don't seem to be affiliated with—let alone know of—Yukari Yakumo, instead saying that someone else dragged them into this mess.
Which puts Reimu into a pickle. She has to find out the architect of the connected incidents before Gensokyo is irrevocably changed for the worst. But how will she stop the machinations, when the persons involved in the connected incidents refuse to spill the beans regarding who started the whole thing?

Summary
When one has lived long, their life is often accompanied by all sorts of ills and ails, though many could say they come out that much better for overcoming the odds. For those with the deck stacked against their favor, this usually isn't the case, and remains so even after their death. And ever since nonsense from Beyond started hitting Gensokyo on the regular, Eirin has found herself with more... unusual patients who couldn't escape those ails even within the afterlife, namely because they had no afterlife to expedite them into Nirvana or Purgatory. Thus, it is all she can do to ask the important questions, and watch the dominoes fall with the weight of her words... yet, she remains blissfully unaware of those who would find her intervention wanting, and unwanted.
