After a prolonged bullying campaign, Taylor and her father move to a small town in Northern Maine to get away from the Bay. Starting her senior year of high school in a new town isn't easy, but at least Taylor isn't the only new student joining this year.
Even if the Dessous family is a bit odd, what with the perfect skin, dark eyes that shine red in the light, and slightly too sharp canine teeth.
Still, they can't be that bad.
