Galatea finally turns her attention back to Grace after humming a nod, who raises her chest out of the water in order to receive her glass. With a playful shake of the wine bottle, her friend tips it down quite like a painting’s delicate twist to pour it in generously, with the class of a drunken noble. Galatea Claude is from a wealthy old family, so she has so much to learn about people like her. The color is still lovely, glittering in hues of red, much more colorful than blood but much brighter than flowers from home.
A little darker than Galatea’s lipstick and her pillow. It looks like it would melt on her tongue. Then she fills up her own glass halfway. She said that it’s common etiquette to not completely fill up a crystal glass- only some wines are made for touching the brim.
