Summary
It took Makkari two days to visit the remaining Eternals. Not because she was too slow – she could run around the whole world in less than an hour – but because simply saying “Hey, I wanted to make sure you didn’t die” wasn’t that easy.
For the sake of his documentary, Kingo wasn't 100% honest when he said that none of them had seen Makkari in centuries.
Or: Makkari checks on the Eternals after The Snap and reconnects with the feeling of having a family.
Also: She musters up the courage to visit a long-lost friend and finds happiness along the way.

There was a particular ring that Makkari had been eyeing from one of her favorite antique shops, for the longest time. It was a gold Art Deco ring from the 1920s with a well kept emerald that Makkari adored. But for whatever reason, the stubborn old man who ran the shop refused to sell it to them and even upped the price so it was more expensive than what Makkari had planned for.
“Do you want to go by that store?”
She huffed out, “No, I looked the other day and he already sold it, can you believe it?”
Yes.
After all, he’s the one who bought it.

“Hard not to be.” His hands had been jittery all day, not to mention he decided to take a half day at work because his nerves were twisting his stomach so much.
They had talked about marriage and kids before, but that doesn’t mean that Phastos’ mind was set in stone. He might think that it’s still too soon, that they still don’t know enough about each other. It’s fine, Ben’s willing to wait until Phastos is ready, he just wants Phastos to know that he’s envisioned having a long life by his side.

Statues of Bast from near Wakanda, full sets of plate mail armor from Spain, books rescued from the library of Alexandria, written works from every human culture spanning millennia. Mixed in between the unorganized piles—he knew she’d contest his assessment of unorganized of course—of priceless treasures were more wrappers and boxes of junk food. Soda cans, sweets, more chips, candy wrappers, takeout containers.
In the midst of it all, she sat in a throne speedreading some large tome. A queen surrounded by her tribute. His beautiful queen. He remembered another throne room where she had been his queen, his bright Kore, Queen of the Underworld.

Each year at Olympia High, one to two seniors are brutally killed. A legend within the school states that these seniors are killed by another senior as a sacrifice to an evil entity that lives within the school's walls. No one knows what this entity is, besides the killers it selects. It is said that if the killer succeeds in their task, they are granted a gift, but if they fail to kill a senior within the school’s walls within the first three months of the school year or decline the offer, they die.
