“Are— Are you sure?” Youngjae brings the phone back up to his ear, anxiously chewing at his lip. “I… We didn’t… We didn’t know each other that well.”
"Your name was on the list sent out by his next of kin.”
“But—”
“Our kit will be arriving at your doorstep shortly, and the built-in guide will assist you with any further questions. Thank you for your time, Mr. Choi Youngjae, and we’re sorry for your loss.”
When a mysterious package arrives at his door, Choi Youngjae looks back—for the first time in twenty-seven years—on the youth that he spent with his old friend, Kim Dohoon.
