She would be lying to say that Aylin’s Alpha pheromones were not affecting her if the throbbing within the depths of her core said otherwise. However, she had enough decency to not be so blunt in front of their savior of the century, the individual who saved both of their lives. If Tav didn’t or made decisions that resulted in them not being reunited…the possibility made Isobel shudder. “We will see you later.”

Narei spends so much time blissfully unaware, so much time left mindless or unconscious, that there have been a plethora of opportunities for him to do whatever he pleases without their knowledge.
