Telemachus finds himself shaking his head. It’s weird, but he’s starting to feel more at ease with the man. Or maybe the alcohol is setting in (yeah, sure, all one and a half sips he’s had). “Oh I was just, like—” Really fucking anxious and felt like everybody is annoyed with him as a person and couldn’t stand the noises and touches and everything. “Bored. I guess. I dunno. I guess large groups aren’t really my thing.”
He’s pretty sure he actually hates it but it’s always best to be polite. His mom would say that. Of course unless he was in danger or really felt like it, then she told him to kick whoever in the balls, which, Telemachus isn’t sure is the best way to get out of an awkward situation.
“That’s fair,” Peisistratus says. “Did you want to do anything else? While we’re up here, I mean.”
“Uh sure. Like what?” Honestly, Telemachus is really enjoying his company, even if he’s a little flustered at being so close to Peisistratus. It’s an odd combination of wanting to be him and wanting to be with him. The struggle is a little ironic.
“We could make-out.”
