Summary
On 60 Scion, 1325, a sleepy dusk envelopes the village of Astorea in Caledon Forest. Cradled within the boughs of the Pale Tree, some few pods shiver and shudder, indicating that the time has come for the dreaming saplings within to awaken.

Summary
A month ago, Haizinn and four other saplings were kidnapped by the Nightmare Court in the dead of night. Eventually, Haizinn, Yarlinn, and Lymira are the three that escape, albeit at a cost. Now back home, Haizinn recovers from the pain and trauma inflicted on him by the Nightmare. Airennor, fraught with worry, sinks deeper into depression, realizing his brother will never be the same, and might even be of the Nightmare now.
A week after Haizinn's return, in the evening of 38 Colossus, 1325, Airennor discovers a side of himself that he never realized he had.
