Summary
The strength he held was little, but as they drew closer and closer to the exit, he needed to ascertain her intentions and plan accordingly. Trusting her was a fool's errand, and he had already allowed himself to be dragged unquestioning for long enough.
"What..." He cleared his throat, took a deep breath. "What, by chance, is happening?"
"We're leaving." Azem's voice was quiet, tinged with resignation—some mixture of grief and determination, perhaps, but G'raha could not name why. It was the same non-answer he received before.
"For another round of interrogation from Emet-Selch?"
She was silent for a moment. "No."

[Or, G'raha, while injured, was most certainly capable of dragging himself out of here on his own. Instead, he was being forcibly removed from his inhospitable accommodations by the Ascian, Azem.]

Summary
Following prompts on https://ffxiv-write.carrd.co/. Serene/Frydoen is once again the focus. I will mostly write Serene from a non-WOL timeline, but if a prompt calls for it then I will write them as a WOL and put a note when that happens. NSFW content and other warnings will be highlighted at the start of each chapter.

Summary
Azem is a ghost, and the Warrior of Light, apparently, is a medium for all the skill with which he has in coaxing ghosts to speak. And worse, he is also an aspiring necromancer. Azem cannot help but be convinced to let him try to bring them back.
They will not abandon their duty...but they can simply agree to just- watch, right?
In which a WoL adopts a very lost Ascian. The Scions should have expected this.

Summary
Azem follows the Warrior of Light through Othard, and observes as Doma is liberated from Garlemald's choking grasp. Sometimes they get too close for comfort.
Corrain de Fortemps tries his best to bear the weight of being the hero of two continents. Sometimes, he catches the Ascian paparazzi watching - and tries to see if just this once- maybe they won't have to fight.
Five times the Warrior of Light and Azem of the Unsundered see each other - and sometimes there's a big nuzzly yol involved.

Summary
“...who are you, Ascian?” he asks, and tips his head to the side. The Light atop his staff dims only slightly- the link to the light in his soul too strong to snuff it out entirely. But he knows Ascians are creatures of the Dark, so if he's pretending they can be cordial, he can at least try to temper the glow within.
“...Azem. Of the Unsundered,” they say quietly- and that name is familiar too, though he cannot say how.
Or, the one where Azem saves the Warrior of Light from Zenos, and everyone - even the other Ascians - cannot stop what has been set in motion.

Summary
It isn’t the Sundering that breaks them.
It isn’t Zodiark’s summoning, the Convocation voting for sacrifice upon sacrifice, using their people as fuel for a god to save them. It isn’t even their failure, time and again, to protect their people and do their duty and stop the Final Days. No, in the end, what breaks them is something- so much smaller, in the grand scheme of things, it almost feels like an insult. Just one more casualty to the calamity their lives have all become.
It isn’t supposed to happen.
Azem's descent into grief begins during the Final Days with the loss of two of the three people they love most on the star. Thirteen thousand years of empty despair follow.

Summary
Emet-Selch didn't expect to find anything interesting once he went to the First to give it a look at how the Light corruption was going, yet, he found a bunch of would-be heroes being annoying and not willing to follow his plans...but more important than that he had found the most valuable and precious soul he had been looking for through all his lives and time since the sundering.
If only he could get him to get away from that aberration.

Summary
Once again, the in between will be filled, ah, soon. >.> I've been focusing on AU's throughout May, in all fairness, but I wanted to get the canon journeys up that I could. This takes place around Post-SB. The Warrior of Lights mentioned are Tuelex (Male Elezen WoL) and Yesui (Female Xaela). The Garlean OC mentioned is Cassius, and he actually plays a huge role in Yesui's canon. (This ends around 1 year-ish before the main WoL arrives on the First)
