Summary
Seela Coldren and Ardbert Hylfyst thought they'd be together forever, adventuring around the First, until a mysterious portal rips Seela across the veil to another world that is strikingly familiar yet malms away from her home. She meets an adventurer with connections to a group who may be able to find her a way home, along with his best friend, who feels more like home than she ever expected.
When Ardbert appears in this new world with a plan to destroy her adventurer friend, Seela must find where the limits of her conscience lay. And when the Scions of the Seventh Dawn are trapped on the First, she must follow and help pave their way home, even if her own definition of home continues to change.
But as her behavior grows more and more strange, suspicions are raised about who exactly Seela is and what her motives are. Is she really the mild-mannered white mage she appears to be, or is there something more at play? Is Seela the perpetrator or victim in her own story?
Shatters is an au where Lamitt wasn't Ardbert's first companion. Canon is otherwise followed as much as possible.

Summary
Saphyra wakes to find herself beyond the rift in the First. Scarred by the losses in her past and angered by the summoning of the Scions she has finally come to call her friends she sets forth on a new path where the odds are stacked against her from the start. The Crystal Exarch and Emet-Selch are in a tug of war to gain influence over the vaunted hero of the Source; appealing to her old love for the world and its people, and her selfishness and grief. Saphyra will have to make sacrifices she does not understand yet and tip the scales as she begrudgingly takes up the mantle of the Warrior of Darkness.

Mistakes and choices were made in the past and future, and now there are Four Warriors of Light who could all easily take center stage and be the hero. However, one does appear to shine brighter than the others, perhaps that's whom the story is meant for?
Even then, having FOUR Warriors of Light can't be a bad thing, right? The established timeline won't change that much...
