Summary
After the disappearances of Lizzy Lane and Dolly Serebryakova, their roommate, a young woman named Viola Graves, reaches out to the Nevermore Hunting Association to find out where they could have gone.
As Uzi, Thad, Cyn, and N investigate the small town of Keypoint, Louisiana, they learn about the legend of the mermaids and their curse, which makes young women and girls disappear over the years.
Things go south when, while staying at the manor of the friendly George Pheolia, Cyn grows feverish and begins to dream of sinister secrets. Only her friends can break the mermaids’ curse and solve the disappearances.

Because as Uzi found out, some pirates don't exactly make their presence known until you're tied up and being negotiated off to a Blue Whale Drone who's over half your height.
And all because her stupid bully got herself kidnapped by him first...

In a dangerous act, Uzi consumes the Solver’s corrupted core to weaken it, leaving her vulnerable to its influence. Despite the uncertainty, Uzi, with the support of N and V, manages to rescue Cyn’s damaged core, giving them a glimmer of hope for a future free from the Solver.
However, as Uzi now carries the remnants of the Solver within herself, the team must grapple with the uncertainty of Cyn’s loyalty and the unknown repercussions of Uzi’s dangerous decision.
