And he certainly wasn't ever expecting to see Jordi again, not years after Chicago when everyone else in that mess was gone and dead. But now that he's run into him again, things don't quite go as planned. Somehow, they keep seeing each other, in a dozen different cities with excuses wearing thin from overuse, and he's not sure where he stands now.
It's not love. He won't call it that. There's just a certain kind of comfort in not being alone anymore—and if that comfort comes with Jordi, he's stopped caring about the other strings attached.
