Summary
Megaera walks towards him, making her round of the room so that she appears in the corner of his vision first. She hears Banquo gasp, watches his chest shift to account for the air. She cannot help herself– she giggles, and he is staring at her in wide-eyed horror, that he can see her still, that nothing has changed despite all his prayers, and she cocks her head politely, smiles wide once more, and lifts a bony, crooked finger to point at him, right between his eyes.

One of the witches finds that Banquo makes for a wonderful plaything. He makes her laugh.

Summary
My dear Mary,
I have just received the most exciting invitation, and, were you here, I am sure you would have been invited too. Although you might not have gone, parties being such frivolous things. (I am only teasing!)
"Col. Roy and Mrs. Cochran request your presence Thursday, the fifteenth of March, at nine o’clock.
A séance has been planned."
I am sure I’ll have a lovely time. I have met Mrs. Cochran once or twice around town, and she is always so charming and beautifully dressed.
I hope I have not shocked you too awfully!
Your loving Sister,
Lyddie

Summary
A Macbeth parody in which Macbeth does anything to avoid being called a coward and doesn’t believe in witches, no one notices Lady Macbeth is obviously evil, everyone overthinks the prophecies, and Malcolm may be the only sane man.
