Summary
For a year now, people had been disappearing into thin air with no warning whatsoever. All over the land, people had been frantically writing to him, telling him that their lovers, their friends, their family, their children, were all gone. As if they had faded into the wind, blinked out of existence. Like they were nothing more than wisps of air.
If only he had a clue, a lead, something to work on, then he’d definitely be able to stop all these disappearances somehow.
He had no idea how true that’d soon turn out to be.

“Me, A-Jie, I’ll do it!!’ Jiang Cheng says. “I’ll chop it well!”
“I’ll chop it even better.” Wei Wuxian huffs, obviously put out that Jiang Cheng got to speak first.
“Oh yeah? Well, I’ll chop it – uh – “ Jiang Cheng stumbles over his words, and Wei Wuxian can’t hide his snicker. “Just wait and see!” Jiang Cheng ultimately says.
