Summary
100 years following the events of the game, another desperate warrior sets out on a quest to bring back the soul of his beloved. But things aren't all the same. In this tale, we meet Dantar and Aerus, two young husbands whose village has been struck with an incurable sickness. While some villagers are immune, those who are unlucky slowly wither away until they are inevitably captured by death. Desperate to save his husband, Dantar seeks out the Forbidden Lands with Aerus in tow as his time approaches. They've heard the tales of the abandoned corner of the world, but Dantar heeds no past warning as they go in search for the only way to save Aerus from such an early fate. Whether tales of the Forbidden Lands are true or not, Dantar will not stop his quest until Aerus' soul reaches this plane again. Whatever the price, he is willing to pay, no matter how heavy it may be in the end.
