Summary
It’s a dangerous game, whatever they’re playing. It was dangerous back that night and it’s dangerous now, because John doesn’t quite know which limit he would reach and he’s pretty sure George doesn’t know either. Perhaps that’s what pushes him to carry on; a selfish curiosity to find out exactly what they would do if prompted.
Or: George and John meet again. It doesn’t end up as they thought it would.

But it’s always been like that with them, hasn’t it? The constant fight for the upper hand, the mutual mistrust. They’ve had their ups and downs since Paul introduced them to each other many years ago. John pounds on that for a moment; they’re not those boys anymore. It was a long time ago when they stopped being dreamers with a shared love for music; they’re actual celebrities now, and their experience should’ve taught them better than to make out in a dark spot outside a crowded venue.
