Summary
Two moms, four kids. What could possibly go wrong? The Griffin-Woods family seemingly has the perfect life, at least until Lexa’s (over?)zealousness as NYC’s top young prosecutor means she starts making some very dangerous enemies whose only goal is to remove her from the equation. By any means necessary.

Summary
Clarke Griffin is the office manager of Trikru Bourbon's brand in Louisville and runs it with relentless precision. Lexa Woods commands the company's New York marketing office from afar. To most, they’re polite strangers who cross paths once a month. But on a company offsite to Nashville, a night of bourbon and neon lights cracks open the walls they’ve kept between them.
What follows is a slow burn of stolen moments, cautious confessions, and the messy reality of attraction complicated by distance and reputation. With friends who see more than they say, and a chemistry neither can ignore, Clarke and Lexa must decide if risking the rules is worth the chance to write something new together.
A romance of late nights, quiet courage, and one kiss that changes everything.

Summary
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Emily Dickinson's house, where a bought a book of letters she wrote to Susan. Between the book and Vita and Virginia, my mind is filled with the enchanting letters exchanged by women in the 18th/early 19th centuries, and that was fertile ground for this odd little fic to be born.
The structure is a bit different. Each chapter will be a letter from either Clarke or Lexa, with occasional comments from our Heteronormitavely Blinded Historian™. So chapters will be short and provide little snippets into their lives, rather than the full story. I hope that you, like me, will enjoy letting your mind wander where it will. Not really sure where this journey will take us but pretty stoked to experiment with this kind of writing. I hope a few of you enjoy it too.
Shoutout to the lovely @anddante for letting me ramble about my convoluted ideas.
Disclaimer: I've included some dates to provide an idea of the timeline, but this is set in a purely imaginary world with its own towns, politics, and wars. I have made no attempt to reconcile them with actual historical events. I am going for the style and general feel this era had to it, not historical accuracy.

Summary
Lexa is used to her secluded life by the water. Ever since being discharged from the navy, she's lived in the living quarters of a lighthouse, tending to it and spending her days by the water. Although she's come to terms with her life, she can't get the memory of those haunting blue eyes out of her mind.
Until, one day, when they show up at her doorstep, begging for shelter.
