Summary
Last year Marinette's family moved to Gotham from Paris to start their business in the US.
At school, Marinette hears stories about the tragic Wayne family. The family's home burned down and all of them died. Rumor says the family's ghosts haunt the grounds. Any who approach the destroyed manor will be chased out.
Marinette wants to see the ghosts for herself, in doing so she meets a young boy (ghost?) named Damian. He feels a little too real to be a ghost, but how should she know what ghosts actually look like?

Marinette Dupain-Cheng always assumed her timer was counting to when she met her soulmate. The idea that she would die so young wasn't plausible, after all when the timers appeared when she was eight, she was only given twelve years. Twelve years until she met her soulmate, right?
Damian Wayne always assumed his timer was counting to his death. There was no way he could live to meet his soulmate. There was no way he had a soulmate. It was much more likely that he would die in twelve years. Twelve years until his inevitable death, right?
