  Summary

  When Kai, a young trainer from Alola with the power to feel the emotions of Pokémon, rescues a mysterious black Pokéball from a group of sinister researchers, he has no way of knowing how its inhabitant will change his life. Caught up in a dark conspiracy that threatens humans and Pokémon alike, he and his new friend must fight to protect all that they hold dear.

  But the little Jangmo-o holds a secret of his own: his memories are in tatters, but he remembers enough to know that he was once a human - and one from a world where Pokémon are just a fantasy. How did he get here? Why is he a Pokémon? Who exactly *is* he, anyway? With Kai's help, he's determined to find out... but is he ready for the answers?
