Denial is easy, acceptance is not. When Tsukishima agrees to help Nishinoya with some homework, what he doesn't agree to is all of these feelings that keep popping up at inopportune moments. He can sort it out, though. Probably.
Or, Tsukishima would rather ignore his feelings and Nishinoya is dead set on making sure he doesn't.
