“Hold on! I almost got you- Damn it!” Glisten’s body dangled dangerously on the edge of the doorframe. His arms failed around a second as he struggled to regain his balance, but as soon as he did, he reached out his hand. Rodger extended his arm further, fingers trembling from the strain.
In the spur of the moment, Glisten nearly let go of the cabinet just to reach Rodger. It was a huge gamble, one he likely wouldn’t win. But in the name of love, he’d do anything.
