“I’m as real as you want me to be, puppy.” Jimin accompanies the last part with a boop to her nose. Scrunching, Minjeong giggles and nuzzles her head closer to Jimin’s chest. The visceral need to be held welling up from inside her soul. Her frayed ends, previously buzzing and unraveling being soothed and covered by her gentle embrace.
“Then can I stay here forever? I don’t want to hurt anymore.”
“For as long as you want to, my love. I’ll make sure the hurt never reaches you here.”
“Promise?” Minjeong asks meekly, voice muffled by the fabric. Her hands fisting the other woman’s shirt, a nervous habit. Smiling, Jimin leans in to press a short kiss to the top of her head.
“Cross my heart and hope to die,” She whispers against her hair.
