Summary
Instead of Blonde Blazer telling Robert to cut a Z-team member on his second day of work, she does it on his eighth. A little more experience with the team and — thanks to his sign-on bonus’s having processed — a little less overall stress changes how Robert responds.
The Z-team’s finding a way to eavesdrop on his conversation with Blazer changes things even more.

Summary
Heroes saved the city. Now they must save themselves.
After the destruction of Torrance at the hands of Shroud and the Red Ring, Robert and the Z-Team work to rebuild their lives and the city they protect. With the Astral Pulse back in his hands, Robert resumes his role as both dispatcher and Mecha Man—but is that truly the hero he wants to be?
Meanwhile, Robert and Courtney formally begin their relationship, navigating the challenges of superhero life together—where emotional vulnerability can feel more dangerous than any villain. As she fully embraces her place on the side of good, Courtney struggles with her identity as Invisigal, questioning whether she can ever fit the mold of a “classic” superheroine.
Blonde Blazer, now Mandy, discovers new ways to help people without the powers of her amulet—reflecting on what it truly means to be a hero and whether that identity aligns with the life she wants to lead.
Dispatch: Still Standing is a post-canon narrative about resilience, personal growth, and the choices that define who we are: both in the mask and beneath it.

Summary
The world saw the explosion that was supposed to kill him. He survived it but didn't escape undamaged. After a taxing recovery, Robert now contends life not just as an ex-superhero, but as a normal human living with the injury that comes from surviving a direct blast on a mech suit. His armor is now the thin veneer of "normal" he attempts to maintain while balancing his new identity, his past, relationships, a new job, and rowdy work colleagues.
This story portrays Robert as an explosion survivor through a story that stretches the canon to include a recovery process and relationship building between himself and other canon characters. This story mixes cannon events with slices of life to create a longer narrative with individual character explorations as you follow Robert in his process of recovery and rebuilding his identity as the world goes by.

Summary
This whole thing was probably a bad idea. Probably a really bad idea. It was a hard sell. The higher ups raised eyebrows before they could finish with their proposal. Even those enthusiastic about the Phoenix program showed some hesitancy. The program barely worked as is. The “villains” they had repackaged into heroes were barely holding on. To pull a villain off of death row, it all seemed a little…stupid.
If it wasn’t for Track Star, the only remaining member left alive from Brave Brigade, the proposition would’ve been flushed and treated like nothing more than a fever dream. After all, the villain he was advocating for had taken down Track Star’s team one by one. Hunting them down like a feral dog until the Brave Brigade wasn’t enough for him anymore. So many heroes were lost, and everyone was ready to turn a blind eye to his death penalty.
The conditions came quick, but they had agreed.
There was to be no more Mecha Man, and Robert Robertson would not be allowed out in the field. Instead he would work as a dispatcher.

Summary
It's cut day, and Coupe, Invisigal, and Sonar are at the bottom of the list. Only one of them takes coke on the job, has random transformations that make him unreliable, and can be manipulated by any pretty woman who glances his way. For Robert, it's an easy decision.
Malevola sees things differently. She sees a dispatcher who sends a recovering addict to a drug bust, who doesn't even try to use the transformations to the Z-Team's advantage, and . . . well, even she can't deny the last. But she knows that being cut means losing not just a job -hard for any felon to find-, but stability, support, and any path to recovery.
A demoness who takes the pain and injuries of others to heal them, and a man who can't stop getting hurt as he starts giving his team everything he can -what can they do together?
