“Wynonna and Dolls needed some info from the good ol’ Purgatory historian, so here I am.”
“That an official position?” Nicole asks, and Waverly just shrugs a shoulder. “Or just another piece to the Waverly Earp puzzle?”
“That depends,” Waverly muses, and she’s not entirely sure what’s making her be this bold, but she just can’t resist. “Are puzzles a good thing, or a bad thing for Nicole Haught?”
Maybe she’s comfortable flirting back because she knows that Nicole won’t make fun of her, and that she won’t judge her, because she’s good and already, Waverly feels safe.
“Depends on the puzzle,” she grins, and Waverly can feel herself flushing all over again. “The Waverly Earp puzzle though…..I’ve got a hunch that it’s one of the good ones. ”
