Bepo logra salvar a su capitán de las garras de Barbanegra llevándolo junto a los Mugiwara, sabiendo que Luffy hará lo que sea por Law y le dará las esperanzas que él tanto necesita para seguir adelante y salvar al resto de su tripulación.
Sabe que el capitán más joven haría lo que sea por su ex-aliado y amante.
Y lo que Law necesita en este momento es esperanza y la protección que el hombre que ama y en el que creé con todo su corazón siempre le transmite.

It wasn’t rare for the gods to take mortal lovers. Some were even known for it. Though, despite the undeniable divine favor beheld by those chosen mortals, most if not all tales of such a romance ended in tragedy.
Of course, there are retellings of these stories that end very differently, for often people prefer a happy, cozy ending to one that leaves them wallowing in sorrow or pity.
This is one of those retellings.

Percy has always been able to read the subtext of Apollo’s actions - how the tilt of his chin said I missed you and the careful placing of each foot as he walked mumbled I’m currently navigating the Sun Chariot through a flock of migrating geese, so no one distract me.
This action wasn’t one he was familiar with, but it lit his heart up like the Fourth of July all the same.
